Today Cross Country Skiers got to show the games how our sport does things. Russia dominated the results board, with the females taking the top 5 spots and the Russian men taking the top 4 spots.
Ontario women stepping to the start line of the 5 km free, was Alana Thomas, Carleton University, and was our best female result in 42nd, Anna Crawford, Lakehead University, was in 47th and Mary Thompson, Laurentian University, in 50thOur best Canadian result came from the men with Gavin Hamilton, who is from St. Catherine's Ontario, now representing Calgary University with an impressive 19th.
All athletes now prepare for skate sprints on Saturday February 21st.
