Ontario's Para-Nordic Program is designed to provide youth and adults with various types of physical disabilities with opportunities to participate in our sport for purposes of recreation and competition. Categories within Para-Nordic include sit and standing skiing with disabilities such as vision impairment.
Cross Country Ontario’s Para-Nordic program will have two priorities:

Pilot AWAD LTT & TTT Dryland Module
CCC will be Piloting the Competitive Coach Introduction LTT & TTT AWAD DRYLAND Module, July 19 to 21st, 2013 AT WCCFC in Naughton, ON.
The coaching workshop will start at 6:00pm-9:30pm on Friday July 19th; Saturday July 20th in conjunction with a Para-Nordic Dryland Training Camp starting at 8:30am- 4:30pm and start up again Sunday July 21st, 2013 at 8:30am-12:00pm.

Ontario’s Para-Nordic Skiers Number One at Nationals
Contributing 562 points to Ontario’s aggregate results at the Haywood Nationals held in Whistler, B.C. this past March, the Para-Nordic team helped secure Ontario's 3rd place overall.

Robbi Weldon Wins Fourth Gold at Parapan American Games
It's been a perfect Games for visually impaired cyclist Robbi Weldon (Thunder Bay, ON) and her pilot Lyne Bessette (Knowlton, QC) as they captured their fourth tandem cycling gold medal in as many races at the Parapan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Sit Skier Christy Campbell Riding a Bike
Christie Campbell, Ontario Para-Nordic Team athlete and Paralympian, learned to ride a bike at the Preston Memorial Arena at a KidsAbility camp called "Lose the Training Wheels."
The Lose the Training Wheels program will be touring 90 cities in the U.S. and Canada.

Robbi Weldon 2011 UCI Para-cycling World Cup Champion
Robbi Weldon of Thunder Bay, ON and Lyne Bessette of Knowlton, QC took the win in the Women's Tandem after a solo breakaway.
