CCO's High Performance Program

Cross Country Ontario's High Performance program promotes the development of high performing athletes to represent Ontario as well as Canada on the international scene.
We do this by:

• Establishing criteria for the Ontario Cup race series to provide experience to Ontario athletes and to function as a basis for athlete selection
• Setting selection criteria for various Ontario teams and for Carding under the Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (OAAP)
• Organizing dry-land and on-snow training camps
• Providing coaching for Ontario teams at National Championships, national-level selection races, and Canada Winter Games
• Supporting the National Team Development Centre in Thunder Bay
